Tadd Whallon, MSW, LCAC
An active member of the recovery community since 2000, Tadd has worked in the addictions field since 2002. He obtained his BS in Psychology from Purdue University and his Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Addictions from Indiana University. He is licensed as a clinical addiction counselor in the state of Indiana.
A veteran of the field, Tadd has worked at some of the top treatment and recovery facilities in the state of Indiana, including Fairbanks, Tara Treatment Center, and Progress House. In 2007, he was one of 18 individuals selected for the Leadership Institute through the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center. He was one of 38 individuals selected nationally to participate in the pilot of the Advanced Leadership Academy through the National Office of the Addiction Technology Transfer Centers. Tadd worked with some of the top professionals in the nation, focusing on utilizing Recovery Oriented Systems of Care within the Reentry Population. To date, he is the only graduate of this prestigious program from the state of Indiana.
In the past, he has served on the board of directors for Mental Health America of Indiana and the Indiana Addiction Issues Coalition. Tadd currently sits on the board of directors for the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences. A resident of Avon, Tadd lives with his wife and 2 children. He spends his free time coaching youth league football and wrestling.
